Setting Up Your Water Filtration System

Setting up your Healthy H2O water filtration system is straightforward when you follow the correct preparation and assembly steps.

This guide explains how to prepare your seven-stage filter, assemble the water bottle and get your system ready for use.

These filtration instructions apply to Healthy H2O Water Pot, Bench Top and Floor Standing models. Please note that electrical connection instructions apply only to powered cooler models.

Step 1: Unpack & Prepare Your System

Remove your Healthy H2O system from its packaging and leave the cooler standing upright overnight.

This is important if the cooler has been laid on its side during transportation.

Remove the water bottle from its packaging and unwrap the seven-stage filter.

Step 2: Prepare Your Seven-Stage Filter

Before installing the filter:

1. Submerge the seven-stage filter in water and leave it to soak overnight.
2. The following day, run water through the filter for approximately 10–15 minutes.

Your filter is now ready for assembly.

Step 3: Install the Float Valve

Locate the float valve and check that the rubber tip is securely attached.

Screw the float valve into the bottom of the main water bottle.

Important: Tighten the float valve using your fingers only. Do not overtighten.

Step 4: Assemble the Header Tank

Screw the white dome onto the header tank.

Once the dome is in position, screw the prepared seven-stage filter onto the bottom of the header tank.

Make sure the rubber seal is sitting snugly in place.

Step 5: Assemble the Water Bottle

With the filter and header tank prepared, you can now assemble the complete system.

1. Place the main water bottle onto the cooler.
2. Position the support rim on top, ensuring it is the correct way up.
3. Lower the header tank, with the seven-stage filter attached, through the centre of the support rim.
4. Place the lid on top.

Your Healthy H2O filtration system is now assembled.

NOTE: Filter bottles from 2020 onwards no longer have the flat dish mineral stones down ast the bottom. Newer models have extra minerals in the main water filter now. 

Step 6: Fill & Start Your System

Fill the system with water, taking care not to overfill the bottom bottle beyond the indicated maximum fill line.

For powered cooler models, connect the cooler to the power supply and switch it on.

NOTE: Water Coolers from 2020 onwards don’t have a switch at the back of the cooler. This eliminates the problem of the switch being bumped and accidently turned off. 

Your Healthy H2O system is now set up and ready for use.
